I am an Engineer, Research Fellow and Course Instructor based in the UK. I have previously worked at Lancaster University, University of Liverpool and currently Brunel University London. I currently have about seven years of research experience in Engineering, and I have worked on a diverse range of UK and European projects (Engineering Materials and Design, Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing), Timber and Composite Structures, Recycling, Sustainability and Waste management) and published over 20 academic publications. I am of the firm belief that service to humanity should underpin research, and I am keen to be a part of the development of engineering solutions to issues around the world. I believe working towards the exclusion of plastic waste in the construction sector is a significant step towards global sustainability and the mitigation of climate change. As such, I am incredibly excited to be a part of Changing Streams to make this goal become a reality. I am confident that Changing Streams’ objectives will inspire others globally to reduce and subsequently eliminate plastic waste pollution.
